Israel Strikes Revolutionary Guard Bases in Tehran Amid Regional Tensions

Israel Strikes Revolutionary Guard Base and Mobile Command Posts in Tehran

Air strikes and mobile HQs

Israeli warplanes carried out strikes in Tehran that hit a Revolutionary Guard ground base and a mobile headquarters used by senior commanders. Those trailer-mounted command posts have become a fallback after fixed command centers were damaged, and the operation sought to take out those improvised control hubs.

The raid also targeted a ballistic missile depot near Tabriz, part of a wider push to disrupt the regime’s weapons and logistics network.

Missiles, sirens and regional spillover

The strikes happened amid an exchange of missile fire across the region. Iran launched several salvos toward Israeli territory in recent days, some impacting populated areas and prompting air-defense responses. Multiple impact sites were noted in central Israel and a few people suffered minor injuries near Tel Aviv after attacks involving cluster munitions.

Meanwhile the northern border remained tense as rocket and drone launches from Lebanon by Hezbollah added another layer of pressure. Warning sirens and defensive measures have been common as the situation unfolds.

Civilians, shelters and what’s next

The escalation coincided with the Passover holiday, disrupting everyday life as alarms and sheltering orders interrupted routines. Emergency services previously treated several people injured by missile strikes, including a child.

Authorities later allowed residents to leave shelters across much of the country, but tension persists. Military officials say the operation will continue as long as needed to degrade the operational network and limit the regime’s ability to coordinate actions in the region.
