Adele Chokes Up As She Plays Homecoming Hyde Park Gig: 'I'm So Happy To Be Here'

  Adele performs on stage at BST Hyde ParkAn emotional Adele said she was “so happy” to be back playing for her home crowd as she fought back tears while performing her first UK live show in five years.  The singer headlined the first of two nights at British Summertime festival in London’s Hyde Park on Friday, where she treated the sold-out crowd to array of hits from across her four number one albums. Taking to the stage, Adele became overwhelmed as she sang the opening lyrics to her hit Hello.
