Valverde Continues Different Midfield Combinations Yet De Jong Only Constant At FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona’s midfield was meant to have been decided after the club pulled itself round from its worst start in 25 years. Over the course of 2019/2020 however, Ernesto Valverde has tried no less than eight combinations in the middle of the park with only one constant: Frenkie de Jong.
