Heathrow plans 12-mile 'green loop' around expanded airport for cyclists and pedestrians

Heathrow bosses want to create a 12-mile "green loop" of cycleways, footpaths and wildlife "reserves" around the expanded airport to offset criticism that the third runway will eat up hundreds of acres of open land.
