Rare Tudor 'gun shield' used by Henry VIII's bodyguards set to fetch £50,000 at auction

The rare metal armour, used to protect the monarch in 16th century London, is one of only 35 in the world and goes on sale on May 1. The shield has a hole in its centre to poke a pistol through.
